Mr. Jay
My name is Jeremy Sturdivant Sr. ( Mr. Jay). I am a proud father. I’m originally from York Alabama . Mr.Jay is a Lead Prek Teacher. I’ve been teaching and living in Atlanta,Georgia for 11 years now. I am very passionate about teaching our youth new ideas and strategies. I enjoy being the person in a child’s life who listens to their thoughts and feelings. Being able to watch children grow and learn is amazing. Teaching in ECE is special to me because I help with setting the educational foundation in their journey of becoming respectful, intelligent, and well rounded individuals. I have a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and I’m currently in Grad school getting my Master Degree in Secondary Education of Mathematics with an emphasis in STEM. Although academics is important , Mr. Jay focuses on daily interactions that encourage social, emotional, and physical development.
